The BA As a Key Agent of Innovation

@PaskwaMutunga contributed a chapter to the book The BA Book of Mentors entitled A Business Analyst Is a Key Agent of Innovation.  In it she suggests three ways a BA can play a role as an innovation agent:

  1. “Clarify the business need, desired outcome, and SMART goals for the new product offering”
  2. “…help the business crystallize the new product concept into a tangible business mode”
  3. “…ask questions to clarify and challenge assumptions about the integration requirements for the technical solution.”
